The NZSIGN webinar series third session is presented by Rebekah Miller.

This webinar will explore what the vestibular system does and how it is tied to the eyes, spine and other parts of our body; some of the symptoms that people experience; and the role of the vestibular system in memory and mood.

Rebekah Miller has a Master of physiotherapy endorsed in Neurorehabilitation.  Her interest in vestibular issues began while writing her masters dissertation looking at balance amongst individuals with intellectual disability.  While undertaking her masters, she was also running the balance clinic at the Otago School of Physiotherapy.  This experience has facilitated her current practice focus in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation.
