Dr McPherson will be discussing assessment of occupational competency in safety-critical professions and workplaces, with focus on medical practitioners, commercial drivers, and airline pilots.

Susan McPherson, PhD, ABPP, LP is a board-certified clinical psychologist currently practicing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was an Associate Professor of Neuropsychology in the Departments of Neurology at and the Director of the Neuropsychology Laboratory for the UCLA Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She served in the Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis and was an Associate Professor of Neurology in the University of Minnesota Medical School. She is co-author of the book A Practical Guide to Geriatric Neuropsychology with Dr. Deborah Koltai.
